In Loving Memory of Gloria and Kevin Decuir

WEST BATON ROUGE PARISH, La. — The West Baton Rouge Parish community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Gloria Decuir, 72, and her son Kevin Decuir, 48, who died in a tragic house fire early Saturday morning, Jan. 24.

According to the WBR Coroner’s Office, the mother and son were at their home on Maple Street in Erwinville when the fire broke out around 5 a.m. Emergency responders arrived quickly, but both were pronounced dead at the scene. An official autopsy is still pending due to weather conditions, and investigators are continuing to examine the circumstances surrounding the fire.

The sudden and devastating loss of Gloria and Kevin has left their family, friends, and the West Baton Rouge community in deep mourning. Their lives, filled with love, memories, and family bonds, were tragically cut short, leaving a void in the hearts of all who knew them.
