The Clarkston, Washington (WA), community is mourning the tragic loss of Kacey M. Storm, 42, who was found deceased on the Greenbelt Trail, just south of the Interstate Bridge, on Wednesday, February 4, 2026.
Authorities reported that first responders were called around 7:05 a.m. after a report of an unconscious male. Upon arrival, Kacey was pronounced dead at the scene. Detective Darin Boyd said the cause of death is a suspected overdose, based on evidence at the site. Asotin County Coroner Lisa Webber has ordered toxicology testing to confirm the exact cause of death.
Kacey’s next of kin have been notified, and family, friends, and community members are grappling with the sorrow of losing him so suddenly. Though his life was cut short, Kacey is remembered for the moments he shared with loved ones and the impact he made on those around him.
