It is with deep sorrow that we remember Kareem Levar Brice, age 44, of Spartanburg, South Carolina, who was found deceased on Monday, February 2, 2026, in Mauldin, South Carolina.
According to authorities, Mauldin Police responded around 10:40 a.m. to reports of an unresponsive person inside a vehicle in the parking lot of an apartment complex located at 288 Old Mill Road. Upon arrival, officers found Kareem suffering from a fatal gunshot wound. The Greenville County Coroner’s Office later confirmed his identity.
Law enforcement officials have stated the incident is being investigated as a homicide. Due to the active and ongoing nature of the investigation, no further details have been released at this time.
Kareem’s passing has left family, friends, and the community heartbroken. He will be remembered for his life, his presence, and the memories he shared with those who knew and loved him. Though his life ended tragically, his memory will endure.
