SALUDA COUNTY, S.C. — The Saluda County community is mourning the tragic loss of Natalie Long, 41, of Ward, who was killed in a Utility Task Vehicle crash on Old Charlestown Road near Forest Hills Road on Monday, February 2, 2026.
According to the Saluda County Coroner’s Office, Natalie was traveling south in a 2014 Polaris side-by-side UTV when the vehicle veered off the roadway, struck an embankment, and overturned. She sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation by the Saluda County Coroner’s Office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
Natalie Long’s passing has left family, friends, and the community grieving a life taken far too soon. She is remembered for the love she shared, the memories she created, and the impact she had on those around her.
