In Loving Memory of Pierre White

CHICAGO — The Chicago community is mourning the tragic loss of Pierre White, 35, who was fatally shot on January 30, 2026, near Cicero Avenue and Ferdinand Street.

According to authorities, White was standing outside when he became involved in a verbal argument with another man he did not know. During the confrontation, the suspect allegedly pulled out a firearm and opened fire, striking White in the head and upper body.

Emergency responders rushed White to Mt. Sinai Hospital, where despite lifesaving efforts, he was pronounced dead.

The suspect fled the scene following the shooting. No arrests have been made at this time, and the investigation remains ongoing as detectives work to identify and locate the individual responsible.
