DUNCANSVILLE, PA — The Duncansville community is grieving the sudden and heartbreaking loss of R.T. Jodon, 59, who passed away following a tragic two-vehicle crash on January 14, 2026, along 7th Street.
According to authorities, Jodon was operating a 2023 Jeep Wrangler when the vehicle traveled into oncoming traffic. A 2016 Honda CR-V, driven by Joseph E. Napora, 33, attempted to avoid the Jeep by moving into the right lane. Despite efforts to prevent the collision, the Jeep struck the Honda.
Investigators believe Jodon experienced a medical emergency, leaving him unable to control the vehicle. He was pronounced deceased at the scene, leaving family, friends, and neighbors in deep mourning.
A passenger in the Jeep, Linda M. Jodon, 54, was transported to UPMC Altoona for treatment. Her condition has not been released. The driver of the Honda declined medical care.
