ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Rochester community is grieving the tragic loss of Riesen Love Kimmerly, 25, who died as a result of a fatal crash on West Ridge Road. Her family has shared her obituary online, remembering her life and the joy she brought to those around her.
The crash occurred on Saturday, January 17, near the intersection of West Ridge Road and Elmgrove Road. Police reported that a vehicle traveling west struck the rear of another car that was stopped at a red light. The impact resulted in multiple casualties. Craigery Cavallaro, 42, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and occupant of the other car were hospitalized with serious injuries, and tragically, a dog inside that car also died.
On January 22, authorities confirmed that 28-year-old Tyler Underwood succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash. Riesen Kimmerly was later confirmed as the third fatality, bringing heartbreak to her family, friends, and the wider community.
The loss of Riesen, along with Cavallaro and Underwood, has left loved ones and neighbors mourning deeply. As family and friends remember her life, the Rochester community continues to reflect on the tragedy and offer support to those affected.
