In Loving Memory of Romeo Arshakyan

LOS ANGELES COUNTY, Calif. – Family, friends, and the Glendale community are mourning the tragic loss of Romeo Arshakyan, 61, who was killed Wednesday afternoon in a fatal traffic collision on State Route 14 near the Newhall Avenue offramp.

According to officials with the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office, Arshakyan was ejected from his vehicle during a single-vehicle crash and was pronounced dead at the scene upon the arrival of Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel. California Highway Patrol officers were dispatched around 12:54 p.m. after receiving reports of a white van that had overturned and landed on its side on the northbound lanes of SR-14.

Preliminary information indicates the crash may have been caused by a flat tire, though the California Highway Patrol continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the deadly collision.
