In Loving Memory of Ryan Page,

VASSALBORO, Maine — The Vassalboro community is mourning the tragic loss of Ryan Page, 48, of China, Maine, who died in a fatal head-on collision on Route 3 near Ritch Road on Monday, February 2, 2026.

According to the Maine State Police, Page was driving a Chevy Silverado pickup truck when it crossed the center line and collided with a Ford F-650 commercial motor vehicle operated by 64-year-old Douglas Boivin of Jay, Maine. Despite emergency responders’ efforts, Page succumbed to his injuries at the scene. Boivin was uninjured. A secondary crash occurred when another vehicle swerved to avoid the pickup truck, resulting in minor injuries.

The crash remains under active investigation by the Maine State Police, with assistance from the Traffic Safety Unit, the Commercial Motor Vehicle Unit, Vassalboro Fire and Rescue, Augusta Fire and Rescue, and Delta Ambulance.

Ryan Page’s passing has left family, friends, and the community devastated. He is remembered for the life he lived, the love he shared with those around him, and the many memories he leaves behind.
