EGG HARBOR, Wis. — The Egg Harbor community is mourning the tragic loss of Stephen Stamm, 23, who died in a single-vehicle crash on Friday night, February 6, 2026, in Sevastopol.
According to the Door County Sheriff’s Office, Stephen was traveling north on State Highway 57 when his vehicle left the road and struck a utility pole. He was the only occupant and was pronounced deceased at the scene. An autopsy was conducted on Monday, with results pending, and authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
Those who knew Stephen remember him as kind, caring, and full of promise. His sudden passing has left an emptiness in the hearts of family, friends, and neighbors, who are grappling with the loss of a young life taken far too soon.
