DADE CITY, Fla. — The Dade City community is mourning the tragic loss of Tyrhonda Grant, 45, who died in a devastating two-vehicle crash on January 21, 2026, at approximately 6:45 p.m. at the intersection of Curley Road and Saint Joe Road.

According to authorities, a Ford F-150 driven by a 16-year-old Dade City male failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with Grant’s westbound Audi Q5. The impact caused both vehicles to leave the roadway. The Ford caught fire, while the Audi overturned, tragically ejecting Grant from her vehicle. Emergency responders pronounced her dead at the scene. The teenage driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital.

The crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the full circumstances.
