GALLATIN COUNTY, Ky. — The Gallatin County community is mourning the tragic loss of Iveth Salgado Calderon, 24, of Warsaw, Kentucky, who was killed in a multi-vehicle crash Sunday evening on U.S. 42 East, according to Kentucky State Police.
Troopers with Kentucky State Police Post 5 responded to the scene around 7:30 p.m. following reports of a serious collision. Preliminary findings indicate that a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Dalton Hamlin, 20, of Crittenden, Kentucky, was traveling westbound when it crossed the center line and struck a 2023 Ford Bronco head-on.
