LOGAN COUNTY, Okla. — The Logan County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after two people were found dead inside a residence on the 3800 block of N. Midwest Blvd. Sunday evening.
Deputies were called shortly after 6 p.m. regarding a reported disturbance. Upon arrival, they were initially unable to gain entry to the home. Authorities then contacted a family member, who responded and allowed deputies inside. Once inside, deputies discovered two individuals confirmed deceased, including Meredith Kimani, a well-known member of the Oklahoma film community.
The sheriff’s office has not released the identity of the second victim, and additional details about the circumstances of the deaths remain under investigation. Officials have not indicated what led to the disturbance. Authorities note the incident appears to be isolated, and there is no ongoing threat to the public.
Among those lost in this tragedy is Meredith Kimani, a beloved member of the Oklahoma film community. Meredith was a shining light both on and off the set, always working hard, sharing stories, offering guidance, and making every workday brighter. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and passionate advocate for women’s issues, always willing to go the extra mile for others.
