MIDDLETOWN, Ohio — The Butler County Coroner’s Office has identified the victim of a fatal crash that occurred Monday evening in Middletown.
Luke Helton, 24, of Middletown, died at the scene of the wreck on Carmody Boulevard near Hook Drive. The crash happened at approximately 6:00 p.m. Police have not released additional details regarding the circumstances of the collision.
Emergency responders arrived quickly after receiving reports of the crash and attempted to provide assistance, but Helton was pronounced deceased at the scene. The community has expressed shock and grief over the loss of the young man.
