MANCHESTER, N.H. — A 29-year-old Manchester man was killed on February 16 in what authorities are describing as an accidental shooting. The victim has been identified as Kade Harrower. An autopsy by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner determined the cause of death was a gunshot wound to the chest and classified the manner of death as homicide.
21-year-old Adrian David Garcia Bonilla of Manchester was arrested in connection with the incident and charged with manslaughter and felony reckless conduct with a deadly weapon. Officials say the firearm was discharged accidentally, as the suspect allegedly believed it was not loaded.
The Manchester Police Department, in coordination with the Hillsborough County Attorney’s Office, is handling the investigation and prosecution. Police Chief Peter A. Marr commended the swift response of officers, saying it demonstrates the department’s commitment to protecting the community and holding those responsible for crimes accountable.
