SIOUX CITY, Iowa — Sioux City police have identified the man who was fatally stabbed early Sunday morning and have named two suspects wanted in connection with the incident.
Officers were called to a report of a stabbing at approximately 6:13 a.m. on February 9 at 1003 Pierce Street, Apartment 106. Upon arrival, they found an adult male who was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim has been identified as Maurice J. Grant, 32, of Sioux City.
Authorities have issued arrest warrants for first-degree murder for two individuals:
- Imari Grant, 18, of Sioux City
- Kaiden J. Montes, 18, of South Sioux City, Nebraska
Police warn that both suspects should be considered armed and dangerous. As of Tuesday afternoon, neither suspect has been apprehended, and both remain at large.
Preliminary findings suggest the stabbing was an isolated and targeted incident. The Sioux City Police Department continues to investigate and is urging anyone with information to come forward.
