Pine Bluff Police Investigating Deadly Shooting at Two Brothers One Stop

PINE BLUFF, Ark. — Authorities are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Friday night at a local convenience store.

On February 20, 2026, just after 8:30 p.m., officers with the Pine Bluff Police Department responded to reports of a shooting at 2215 S. Blake Street, Two Brothers One Stop. Upon arrival, officers located 21-year-old Markeise Gipson lying unresponsive in the parking lot near the building. He had sustained apparent gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two additional males were also struck by gunfire during the incident. Both victims were transported to Jefferson Regional Medical Center. They were last reported to be in stable condition with injuries not believed to be life-threatening.

Police say the suspects were seen driving a gray wide-body Dodge Charger with a black roof, spoiler, and hood scoop. The motive behind the shooting remains unknown.

Investigators say the case is in its early stages, and no further information has been released at this time.
