Rebecca Funt, 44, Killed in Littlestown Pedestrian Accident

LITTLESTOWN, Pa. — The York County Coroner’s Office has identified Rebecca Funt, 44, of Littlestown Borough, as the woman who died after being struck by a vehicle while crossing the square in Littlestown on Wednesday, February 4, 2026.

According to authorities, emergency crews were called around 8:48 a.m. to respond to a pedestrian struck in the square. Funt was transported to UPMC Hanover Hospital, where she was pronounced dead at approximately 9:52 a.m.

An autopsy conducted on Friday confirmed that Funt died from multiple blunt force trauma. According to Littlestown Borough Police Department Chief Charles Kellar, Funt was crossing West King Street, heading north, when she was struck by a pickup truck. The vehicle remained on the scene, and police interviewed both the driver and witnesses as part of the investigation.

In the wake of her passing, community members have begun leaving memorials at the site, placing flowers, candles, and other items along East King Street to honor Funt’s memory.

Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
