SELMA, Ala. — The Selma Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred on January 16, 2026, at approximately 8:30 p.m. in the 1200 block of 9th Avenue, Selma, Alabama. The incident resulted in the death of Mark Myles, 43.
Following the investigation, authorities identified Allen McCampbell, 43, as a suspect. McCampbell was taken into custody and arrested for murder. Due to the severity of the charge, the arrest warrant was issued with no bond under Aniah’s Law.
