PINSON, Ala. — A community is mourning the tragic loss of Terron Oshea Brown, 38, who was found dead Monday evening inside a Pinson home after a welfare check escalated into a homicide investigation.
According to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched at 7:42 p.m. to a residence in the 8600 block of Old Highway 75 after concerns were raised about Brown’s wellbeing. When deputies arrived, they found Brown unresponsive inside the home.
Sheriff’s spokesman Henry Irby confirmed that Brown had been shot. Despite emergency response efforts, Brown was pronounced dead at the scene at 8:05 p.m.
Chief Deputy Coroner Bill Yates stated that the exact time of the deadly shooting has not yet been determined, and the case remains under active investigation. Authorities have not released information regarding possible suspects or a motive.
Terron Oshea Brown’s sudden and violent death has left loved ones and those who knew him struggling to process the loss. As investigators work to uncover what happened, family and friends are remembering a life cut short far too soon.
